Kotowski Holds Job Fair in Elk Grove Village

Park Ridge, IL – State Senator Dan Kotowski of Park Ridge will host a Community Job Fair linking residents with companies that are hiring immediately. The job fair is co-sponsored by the Illinois Department of Employment Security and the Illinois workNet Centers of Northern Cook County and is free and open to the public. This event marks the second job fair sponsored by Senator Kotowski, as he continues to work with local employers to put Illinoisans back to work. Senator Kotowski’s first job fair in September attracted over 1,800 participants.

WHO: Representatives from 75 companies who are seeking employees in numerous fields, including openings for administrators, bus drivers, college professors, cooks, engineers, financial representatives, housekeepers, machine operators, mechanics, nurses, receptionists, salespeople, security officers, supervisors and supportive living assistants, to name a few. 

WHAT: Recruiters will be accepting résumés and conducting interviews on site. The job fair will also feature assistance from a professional résumé expert who will be on hand to critique job-seekers résumés free of charge.

WHEN: Thursday, February 16, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WHERE: The Pavilion, a facility of the Elk Grove Park District (1000 Wellington Road in Elk Grove Village).  Ample parking will be available.
